Folded thought of the day: My inbox was again flooded with reader replies this morning. It took me over an hour to read all your great emails. Thank you for sharing your stories and thoughts and reactions and sentiments. I wish I could post and/or reply to all of the emails but rest assured that I did take the time to read each one. Many of you sent in examples of random acts of kindness that you have either committed yourself or have observed (hey flower girl, I really loved your story). And I have one of my own. I was out late again last night and on my way home I stopped by to grab a slice of pizza in my neighborhood. I ordered my usual slice and a woman standing next to me, who had already received her slice, said something like "Wow, that looks good." Well, I figured I'd better take my own advice and I immediately ordered another slice for her. I could tell she wasn't sure what to make of me (weird, shaggy-haired guy buying women pizza) but I simply paid for both our slices and made a hasty exit to assure her. I hope she enjoyed the pizza as much as I did. Now, as I've been accused of rambling too much, I will make a hasty exit. But don't get used to it, I'll be thinking a lot this weekend and will be here on Monday rambling away. In the meantime, have a great weekend and I'll be talking to you soon.
