Folded thought of the day: I'd like to request that you take a moment or two today to remember the victims and loved ones of those killed in the weekend crash of EgyptAir Flight 990. The inevitable lesson that keeps being re-taught when disasters such as these happen, is that one should never take life for granted and to always cherish the people in your life. Life is a precious gift and having people in one's life that you care about and love deeply is a blessing. I'll be saying goodbye to a dear friend of mine today and don't think I won't hug her extra long and let her know exactly how important she is to me. I like to think I would have done this anyway, but being reminded of how quickly life can be taken away sure brings an immediacy to the situation. So do me a favor today and make a point to let someone you care about know how much you care about them. Hug them, email them, call them -- heck, even use your cell phone for this one. It sounds simple... because it is. But being negligent and lazy and taking things for granted is simple too. It's just that one of these courses of action is a lot more rewarding.
