Folded Thought of the Day: I'd like to take a little detour from our regularly scheduled programming. I know you wouldn't have tuned in to Radio Free Fold if you weren't a bit concerned about the messages they keep beaming from those other stations. We've got our own tower here, and we're broadcasting non-stop until they manage to figure out what we're actually up to down here. But that shouldn't keep you from getting the word out. We're in this trench together kiddo. I know some of my communiques have been less than straight-forward, but we've got to keep "them" on their toes, I know they're monitoring. And I know you're picking up the code so I feel safe that our signals have not been crossed. You can't fight them on their terms... they want the frontal attack, but we won't give it to them. So keep listening for key words, the ones that turn in their back, and be very wary if any of these broadcasts start sounding obvious or familiar. Did you hear the distant "thunder" last night? Yeah, the war is in full swing again. Them peace accords just keep getting cut. The air raid always begins after midnight. Word from the front is being cut off so, as usual, all we have to go by is the occasional refugee account and the steady supply of rumor and circumstantial evidence. One thing's for sure, this constant display of collective surrender ain't doing a lot for morale. Not that it's easy to ignore all the propaganda coming out of those sanctioned towers, flowing through the power lines. But c'mon, you gotta show a little strength -- and let's be honest, you don't exactly have to have 20/20 vision to see through these displays. I mean, what do they take us for? But that's the point, now, isn't it? They love being contemptuous...it gives them a big show of strength they can display to the counter-force -- an attempt to put more than a few second thoughts in the average freedom fighter's psyche. And it's at this point where the table either gets turned or we get served up. Feed off strength or fall under it. Get with it baby. There are no neutral states. The war zone is around us all the time. It's on the streets and in your home... it's in your head and the line is getting dangerously close to drawing to a close. Do you know how to identify an enemy who is not pointing a weapon at you? It's easy, all you've got to identify is the person/group with the most to gain from your assent and the most to lose from your dissent. I know, I know...there's a lot of them. ------------------------
