Folded Thought of the Day:


Yeah, you just couldn't stay out of my field of vision, 
now, could you?  I guess that's what demons do.  Keep 
showing up when you thought you had them out of your 
system.  Well, hello again, how've you been, you're 
looking good, here's a dark little cloud for you to 
carry around for the next couple days.  And good luck 
getting a peaceful night's sleep.  

Another crack in the ol' memory lane.  Trip up.  Reel 
for a few minutes, get your bearing before you find 
yourself walking in the middle of traffic.  Playing 
bumper cars with your skull.  The odds definitely 
not in your favor.  

Yeah, here's the longshot again, limping into the arena.  
Can't seem to shake that stigma.  Maybe he just likes 
it that way.  Living like the words in a song.  

Setting himself up.  Another round.  Begin the beguine.  
A coal for the fire.  One more pint of porter.  For the 
big parade.  A little whisky on the wounds.

A torch song for the believers.  Carrying that tune all 
the way to the back of the room.  Out there swooning to 
the crooning.  Filling their cups with that red, red 
wine.  Tasting a little off-color, almost like...

And hey, I see Allison's still sticking around.  Good 
for you.  Can't have you tossing me off just yet.  Here's 
one for all the good times.  A little Al Green maybe.  
Preaching to the choir.

Just tell me one more time.. before you go. 

Turning around and looking out the window just in time to
see the world come to an end.  Right on the other side of 
the looking glass.  Scurrying rats, at each other's throats.  
Gathered around to watch the roll of the dice.  Seizing 
the moment to get what they can out of this little present.  

That juke box kicking in just in time.  A little traveling 
music please.  Gotta get movin' on.
